Our nannies are highly qualified and experienced

We are committed to finding solutions that meet all of our clients' requirements, every single time. Our team consists of highly experienced experts in the field. Clients can trust that they are in good hands every step of the way because we never settle for anything less than the best.
We are Tampa Bay's exclusive nanny agency, recruiting full-time nannies, governesses, and private maternity nurses who possess a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience or suitable childcare qualifications. The majority of our candidates have over 10 years of experience in childcare and education. We conduct thorough interviews with all our candidates and meticulously verify their references and certificates.
Our Story
My name is Maya Dyakova, and I’m the heart behind Our Good Nanny—a dream nurtured by love, devotion, and an unwavering belief in the magic of childhood. Raised in Europe, I grew up surrounded by traditions that treasured family bonds, and from an early age, I knew my calling was to care for children and uplift the families who love them.
My journey began not in a boardroom, but in living rooms and playrooms—as a nanny, a babysitter, and a Pre-K teacher. I’ve held tiny hands, soothed newborn cries, encouraged first steps, and celebrated the little triumphs of toddlerhood. Those moments are where my passion took root and where my vision for Our Good Nanny began to bloom.
I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and have extensive training in CPR, First Aid, and Early Childhood Education. Currently, I’m expanding my expertise by pursuing a degree in Information Technology at DeVry University—because I believe a modern agency should blend heart and innovation.
Founded in 2016, Our Good Nanny was created from a heartfelt desire to give families in the Tampa Bay area more than just childcare—they deserve a trusted partner who listens, understands, and responds with warmth and professionalism. I envisioned a service where parents feel heard and supported, and where every child is welcomed into the arms of someone who truly cares.
Each nanny we place is chosen not only for their skills, but for their spirit. Our caregivers are:
-
21 years or older
-
Certified in CPR and First Aid
-
Carefully background-checked through DirectScreen
-
U.S. citizens or those who have valid work permits
-
Hold a high school diploma or higher
-
Experienced in roles like teaching, nannying, or special needs care
-
Often bilingual or trained in early learning, infant care, or developmental support
We also require a valid Florida driver’s license for transportation roles. Additionally, each nanny is personally interviewed—either via Zoom or in person—so we can ensure they’re the right match, not just on paper, but in heart.
At Our Good Nanny, we believe in more than schedules and resumes. We believe in trust. In connection. In showing up when it matters most. Your family isn’t just a number in our system—it’s a story we’re honored to be part of.
It would be my joy to meet you, listen to your needs, and help you find a caregiver who feels like a valid extension of your family.
With warmth and gratitude,
Maya
